PassportScan Cloud now features a new authentication system that allows users to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO)with Google or Microsoft accounts. This update enhances security, centralizes user management, and gives users full control over their login preferences.
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to sign in using your existing Google or Microsoft credentials. With SSO:
No need to create or remember a separate PassportScan Cloud password.
Authentication is centralized for stronger security.
Each user has autonomous control over their account.
If your email is already registered in PassportScan Cloud:
Google accounts: Example: pablo.junquero@passportscan.net → click Sign in with Google (no password required).
Microsoft accounts: Example: company emails under domains like @yourcompany.com or @outlook.com → click Sign in with Microsoft.
This works for both personal accounts and company domains hosted on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
If your email is not linked to Google or Microsoft:
Enter your email on the login page.
You will receive a verification email.
Open the email and click the verification link to access your account.
No password is required, but updating your password is Mandatory to login without SSO.
After logging in, click your avatar in the top-right corner to access the User Menu, where you can:
Manage Account
Configure PIN Settings
Logout
Under Manage Account, you can independently manage your login and security settings:
Assign a different or additional email address.
Connect a Google or Microsoft account to enable SSO access.
Set a password if you prefer traditional email/password login.
Activate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA / 2FA) for extra protection.
Enable PassKeys for passwordless secure login.Ç
Centralized authentication ensures enhanced security and stability.
Users can manage their accounts independently without IT support.
Seamless login with Google or Microsoft credentials.
Unified access across all PassportScan Cloud services with a single identity.
With this update, each user is now fully responsible for managing their own PassportScan Cloud access. The login process is now handled by a dedicated, enterprise-grade authentication platform, designed to ensure maximum security, privacy, and reliability.
This means that every user can autonomously:
Note: PassportScan Support cannot intervene in case of lost credentials or missing backup codes. Keep your recovery information safe and updated.
