Introduction
In addition to signing the forms configured in the WORKSPACE, you can use the Android/iOS APP to sign any document stored on your PC and save it as a PDF.
To enable this feature, a virtual printer called Bullzip PDF Printer must be installed on the PC. This printer will be paired with a single device (tablet or phone), which will receive the document to be signed.
Log in to the WORKSPACE as an administrator and access SETTINGS by clicking the gear icon:
From the menu on the left, select DEVICES.
In this section, you’ll find a list of devices registered to your account through the PassportScan Cloud app.
(Note: This feature is not available for PassportScan Cloud Legacy apps.)
Select the desired device and copy the corresponding alphanumeric DEVICE ID.
Install the Bullzip executable as administrator.
Open Bullzip PDF Printer Options to configure the printer.
We will need to modify several default settings:
Uncheck all active options.
For File Name, enter the following path: <env:TEMP>\DEVICEID.pdf
Replace DEVICEID with the actual ID copied from the Workspace.
Each Bullzip installation must be paired with a single device, so each PC should be configured with the corresponding device ID from Workspace.
Also, make the following adjustments in "Actions" tab.
Set “Show Document” to “No” so that the document does not open automatically after printing.
Set all options to:
Never
Never
Suppress all errors
Configure the HTTPS upload settings as follows:
Protocol: HTTPS
User: ps
Password: ps
Bullzip is a third-party product and is not developed by PassportScan.
With the configuration provided in this guide, the system will work fully:
you’ll be able to display and sign PDFs using PassportScan.
However, in Trial Mode, Bullzip will apply a “Trial” watermark on every document stored by PassportScan.
If you prefer not to have this watermark for professional purposes, you’ll need to purchase a Bullzip license.
You can find pricing for the Bullzip Expert license here:
