PassportScan Windows Client 19.99 Incompatibility with Updates KB5064401 and KB5064081 (08/30/2025)

Updates KB5064401 and KB5064081, released on 08/30/2025, cause incompatibility with the latest version of PassportScan 19.99 on some devices.


Details:

  • Devices that received these updates are not compatible with PassportScan 19.99 due to a virtualization conflict (likely related to Turbo.net, used to virtualize the application).

  • Our development team is investigating the issue and coordinating with Turbo.net for a solution.


Recommendations:

  1. Do not install these updates at this time.

  2. If already installed, revert the updates as a temporary measure.

  3. Wait for PassportScan to release a compatible version before updating the system.
