PassportScan Cloud Legacy Discontinuation in Summer 2025 & Device Enable

We're reaching out to inform you about the discontinuation and removal from app stores of PassportScan Cloud Legacy during the summer of 2025. We understand that any changes to the tools you use are important, and we want to ensure your transition is as smooth as possible.

The New Version: PassportScan Cloud

For several months now, the new PassportScan Cloud app has been operational, and the vast majority of our clients are already using it. This new version was designed to maintain all the functionalities of the previous app, in addition to adding new features that will enhance your experience.

You can download PassportScan Cloud from the following stores:

First Login and New Security Measures

Once you've downloaded the new app, you can log in with the same credentials you currently use.

We want to inform you that, as part of the new security measures incorporated, it's possible that after the first login, the app may display the message "Device is not enabled." This behavior is completely normal and expected. It means your device is being registered in our system, generating a Device ID. This identifier not only helps us identify your devices but is also crucial for managing and ensuring secure access.

To enable device access, an administrator profile must follow these steps:

  1. Access Workspace.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select the Devices option.
  4. Each registered device will have a settings icon. Click this icon for the device in question.
  5. Within the settings options, you'll find and need to select "Enable" to allow device access.

We encourage you to download and start using the new PassportScan Cloud app as soon as possible, if you haven't already, to avoid any interruptions to your service.

If you have any questions or encounter any issues during this transition, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
